Detailed Readers:
That night was one to remember. The firework show was one of the best firework shows I have ever seen (The Disneyland 50th Anniversary show was better = ) When we got to Victoria's Harbor, the place was packed! Everywhere was gated and there was no chance of getting a view of the fireworks. Not to sound too rebellious or mischievous, I didn't let that stop me! We went under the main barricade via the MTR path, but our view was very limited when we found an opening. The first picture was the view I got, the back of many people's head.
That wasn't going to be fun, so we looked around to see if there were any openings to sneak in for a better view. Coincidentally, we were standing near a restroom with a long pipe running along side of it. With a history of climbing "stuff," my friends and I decided to ascend on top of the restroom. At the top, it was all surreal. We got a great view of the Harbor but there were some trees blocking our view so we climbed another building that was on top of the restroom and THAT view was priceless. The pictures below don't do justice to how beautiful the view and fireworks were. On top of that, the firework show lasted almost 30 minutes!!!
