1 day...

One more day of teaching. Dang, I'm in love with teaching. Lately, I've been being myself in the classroom, no front, all smiles, goofy, just myself. It's been really fun once you start letting your guard down and the kids start responding back with their true selves. But to air on a side of caution, there is still a line that is not to be passed. But anyways, from the wise words of Ronald McDonald, "I'm lovin' it"

For the first time, my classroom is completely cleaned before the last day. It's funny that my little 7th graders become Santa's Elves during times like this. During nutrition, literally, Veronica and her posse of 10 girls line up in my classroom to help. All I have to do is stand in the middle of the room and delegate tasks for them; "Stephanie, get this", "Jennifer, put this book at the back of the room", "Jonathan, start sweeping", "Martha, clean the board"...I'm such a bad teacher.

This consulting business is all I've been doing. Ugh...I enjoy it, but man it's taking so much time. I've basically done nothing for my masters class and teaching...I haven't really lesson planned for the past 3 weeks...

Anyways, I better start prepping again. A reflection of my 2nd year is coming. Stay tuned.
