6th grade...

So I just spend the past week subbing for a teacher that I owed a week to...6th Math and Science. I haven't taught math since summer institute! That's frigging 1.5 years ago when I started teaching. Dang!! Institute memories...

When I'm on-track, I usually eat my lunch in my classroom and hang out with my students. This past week, I decided to eat lunch in the staff cafeteria. I just want to say; interesting conversations, most of the time, I can't relate. Midway through the week, another teacher asked me jokingly, "how do you make it through the week knowing that you don't get paid." It didn't even cross my mind that I wouldn't get paid this week until that point. Hmm..teaching is something that I really enjoy...it's crazy that I'm leaving it in 4 months. All I know is that it's gonna be the BEST 4 months!

6th graders...beside the maturity level of making airplane and explosive noises, I really like! Boys are generally more immature. All the girls, so mature! I had a great time with them...damn those little cute rascals! I honestly couldn't get mad at them, I mean I let the minor talking slide...very unlikely of me. Whenever I was about to raise my voice, I look over to Brian and he would smile at me...I'm a sucker for dimples. I wonder how Cliff teaches 3rd graders...

Been hitting the gym lately. Perfect pushup at home. Gym really helps me clear the mind.

Holiday feeling is here! I really can't wait until everyone's back in LA during Winter Break. It's gonna be epic....wait for it...dary. Epicdary.
