Movies

Haven't been blogging; Merry Christmas by the way. Lately, I've been watching tons of movies from blockbuster hits like Avatar to indie films. All very worthwhile. I realized, I'm a big movie person. You get to see the lives of other people and gain insights right before your eyes. If you missed something like a message, all you need to do is rewind and there you go. In life, there's no rewind button and things can happen so quickly. So movies...while watching I remember the time when I first cried/teared up at the movies. I don't remember what movie it was, but what I do remember was that I walked out of the theater wiping my eyes and I was very young. I hid it from my mom that I was emotionally touched by the film. Hmm...what is this movie?!?!

After some research, I found the movie!! It's called A Perfect World (1993) starring Kevin Costner and Clint Eastwood. Wow, that's old school! 1993...at the theater, I was only 7 years old...and I cried at the movies...I really need to watch this movie now to see what's up.

Aside from movies, I guess my life has been somewhat productive...since the beginning of December or actually my trip to SJ, I caught up with 9 people and counting...that I haven't spoken to in awhile ranging from 3 months to 4 years. I really make an effort to keep in touch; too often, everyone gets consumed in their own lives that they start to forget about the people that they care about or was once really good friends. Strangely...most of these people are older than me...hahaha
