Here are other key memories that I want to remember:
Today was 8th grade graduation rehearsals. Took 5 periods to rehearse...damn. 15 students in my homeroom class are culminating. 50% success rate.
Students text me now but it takes me so freaking long to read what they are trying to say. Damn them and their text language...
A couple of my students came in after school today for cow eye and frog dissection just for fun. One of them has a really weak stomach so she started throwing up. hahah!
Today I finally told Amara, one of my students last year and this year's student speaker, that I will be leaving next year and she started crying. I feel really bad...
I think you know you did something correct when students come hang out nutrition, lunch, after-school, during periods that they ditched, and even on days that they don't need to be at school...
Tomorrow is the 8th grade graduation. I'm not looking forward to it...:(
