I can't believe today's the last day of class. Has it already been 9 weeks since I started? Actually, it has, I can feel it; day in and day out, library. That means 3 1/2 weeks left until the final showdown. Last standardized test, ever!!!
Btw, I hate standardized testing. I hated the SAT and SAT IIs. By no means did the SAT predict how someone would do in college. I absolutely bombed the SATs and did pretty well in college. Whenever I think about the SATs, I just think how disadvantaged my students will do on it. After all, just like the CST and other tests, they are generally written by non-Hispanics so the language is always skewed against them. People tend to do well on tests when they know what the questions are asking...
All disdain against standardized test aside, strangely, for some reason, I have grown to enjoy the GMAT. It's actually kind of fun...I guess this is the mentality to have when you sit with this material like a full-time job. This is the last piece of the puzzle! Gotta get through it...self-motivation, after all, two of my good friends ditched me..you know who you are, bastards! hahahaha jk!
GMAT, PeeMAT, this is my 1 month note to self: A, B, C, D, or E, always pick C.
