KIT

I remember that starting in middle school, everyone would write "KIT" (Keep in Touch) on the yearbooks. However, that KIT never happened. Throughout the years, KIT never happens over and over as people become busy. The worst thing is that these people that you were once close with become distanced. I hate when that happens so whenever I tell someone that I will "KIT," I will hold that promise.

Before I left the classroom, I told all my kids, KIT. Now I get texts, calls, and messages on MySpace. This is what keeps me connected to LA but still, home feels so far.

Here are two messages that I got today that distracted me from going out:

Student sent me this on myspace to update me...I started laughing so hard and then it got all sad...

Well let me start eith my grades i have a 5.9 average and i think its way harder in high school..and the beggining of freshmen year people tried too punk on me but never accomplised it..i have met lots of new peeoplein high school caude of football and yeahh i broke my ancle while playing grant highg. skool and i wont be playing the rest of thee season cause of my injury and it sucksalot...i had this one project in health and it was harrd for me to sleep and carry the baby cause i have cruttches...i will be taking off myy cast on the twenty eight this month..and im gunna hit the weight room since i cant playy...and thatss cool mister that you get free food haha..well keep up the good work trangg.

Another student sent me this and I ended up typing a page of advice...

Yea dt nd David dumped me nd I cnt sleep cnt eat nd I cry all day

Remember folks, whenever you tell someone else KIT, make sure you KIT.
