Smart People

When you work in an environment with very smart people, you start to realize how smart you actually are. Every so often, I get second takes that I work at this company. Pretty unreal still, even after 6+ months. Let alone, I'm in New York City!

Never had I thought that I was actually "smart", just a "hard worker" throughout school. But when I'm placed in an arena of smart people, I start to see things about myself that I haven't seen before: my work ethics, my personality, my areas of development, and how I interact with different individuals. Environment is key. At the end of the day, what I'm trying to get at is, it's important to do self-reflections and see how much you have grown in comparison to a self in the past.

A lesson I want to ink on this blog for my children:

Strive to surround yourself with the people that you want to become, whether they are older, wiser, smarter, funnier, etc. When everything around you is positive, you will be at your best.
