Already the End of Feb?!?!

Wow...time is flying...wasn't it just January?! Now it's the last week of Feb. That means I only have 2 months and 1 week left of teaching...

This week was short! School started on Tuesday and on Friday, I went on a field trip to USC with some of my students. Short and sweet...

This past Wednesday night, I was at 3rd Street in Santa Monica when I realized that I should start a teaching only blog. There has been some crazy moments in school as of late and I have a very short term memory. I need to document every moment or else I will forget about them...

Thursday night was fun. I recently joined a softball team to compete in the city of Cudahy. It's definitely something to look forward to every week. You get this feeling from competitive sports that you don't get anywhere else. This is probably 1/10000 of what Kobe feels on a nightly basis. Anyways, my team consists of several teachers and staff from my school. It's one of two teams from my school. We are definitely the underdogs in the entire league. The goal is to at least win one game and beat the other team from my school. I started shortstop but now I am the pitcher...so far, our record 0-2 in practice games, 0-1 in official games.

I've spent the past weekends at home writing papers and lesson planning...ugh, I'm getting restless. I really want to travel somewhere...
