Recently, I've been taking students on a couple field trips; UCLA and the California Science Center. It's been fun hanging with them and seeing them talk more when they got more comfortable hanging with "a teacher." I'm sure going on field trips and learning a thing or two are better than staying home and watching TV all day. That's literally all they do...Thinking back in middle school, that's all I did: go to my mom's office and watch TV. Middle School years are such awkward years; no car and can't work = boring!
Here's a email I got today from a student: "Ay Mr trang remember that chemical reaction u should us with the baking soda and the vinegar well i mad a bomb using that and it was cool like see what i do when im bored"
What have I done....
