Risk

When you don't take risk, nothing of surprise will come. I've been doing a lot of things that I don't normally do and putting myself in very awkward situations. Couple things:

-Went to a networking event on Thursday and knew no one at all. Met some great people and got invited to another party but ended up not going on Saturday cause I was too tired from basketball and football.

-Went to a random bar on Friday night and met this 50 year old man that agreed to teach me investing the following Friday. Should be interesting.

-later that night, I snuck into a musical at intermission by myself. Turned out to be such a great musical!

-Joined this flag football Pac10 league at Central Park. Highlight: Intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown. Also, I guarded and was guarded by a guy that looks like Reggie Bush. At the end of the game, he said to me "it was hard keeping up with you..." What an honor

-Watched UCLA beat Texas with a bunch of random people at the bar. Turned out to be a great time!

Basically, expect the unexpected when you take risks. Good lesson.
