I just looked at the date of my last entry and it was the end of July. Now it's September. Wow, time flew...and a lot has happened since a month! One of the best months I have had in a long time; filled with excitement, joy, scary moments, tons of emotions, new friends, new experiences, and life-changing moments to say the least.
I really want to update about my backpacking trip but I handwritten all my adventures on paper. Paper was more versatile and mobile than lugging a laptop around. Once I get some time to type them out, they will get posted here. All my pictures are posted on facebook for the first time ever. I never post pictures on FB but it is easier for my backpacking friends to see.
I also have my journal and updates about New York on my mac and we haven't had Internet for the past couple of days so I will post that once I get a chance.
It feels pretty surreal right now. Today I went to explore my office building in Chelsea and on the bottom of the building is a Starbucks and Post Office. Starbucks means tons of studying/reading/conversations here. Post Office equals Netflix! It's also raining outside so I'm glad I went to Target earlier to get a vented umbrella. Anyways, gotta watch USA basketball so peace out for now.
Oh yea, one last thing. My motto for NYC is "Do the things that you don't normally do" along with the "Yes Man" mentality.
