1) Everything becomes about the numbers. Day in and day out, I'm on ESPN, no longer reading the articles like I used to, but rather analyzing numbers and jotting down notes. Box Score becomes a constant visit.
2) It takes over your life. Always thinking and analyzing the situation. Who should I drop? Who should I pick up? Should I trade for so and so? Damn it, why did XXX suck today! Oh snap, XXX was bomb.com!
3) Most importantly, Fantasy basketball takes the joy out of watching basketball. No longer am I watching for the beauty of basketball but rather watching it for the numbers. A beautiful dunk is only two points. A 60 ft + shot from Kidd is only 3 points + 3 point basket. What is happening to me!!!!!
Anyways, so how about them numbers? You want to trade?
